Get to know me…

Hi, I’m Brittni!

A Washington State native currently living in the beautiful state of North Carolina, I am a mother of two children- Noah & Emerson. We have two pup dogs, Buck & Lily. I am also a military spouse to my husband, Ryan, to whom I’ve been married to for 7+ wonderful years.

I believe myself to be passionate about many things. One of which is empowering women in their births. I became a mother in 2019 and I wanted to feel informed, encouraged, and safe during my pregnancy and birth journey. Being able to have that experience and witnessing the strength of both my mind and body, I knew I wanted this feeling to be shared and experienced by other mothers. That’s when I decided to pursue becoming a doula. I went through training with two different organizations, jumped straight into the birth community, and haven’t looked back. I have plans to pursue midwifery in the future but for now this has been perfect for our phase of life.

I believe every woman’s journey into motherhood looks different and I am someone who will support you no matter what your journey looks like.

Between being a mom, wife, and doula, you can find me trying out new recipes in the kitchen, lifting heavy weights in our garage gym, indulging my sweet tooth, and immersing myself in birth podcasts and books!

Here are a few of my favorites

Food

I am a foodie. I will try anything and love to eat! If I had to choose a favorite, it would have to be sushi. Or anything chocolate!

Holiday

I love all Holidays, but Christmas would have to be my favorite. All of the traditions, food, and family time makes my heart happy.

Season

This is hard, but I would say Fall is my favorite season. If only fall in NC was longer than three days! I do adore the snow and chilly days filled with soup, but as I have become more of a beach-goer, spring and summer have been easier to love.
